Le Portail Bleu - beautifully presented 17th and 18th century Breton stone cottages surrounded by trees sitting in secluded grounds. Quality fittings and furnishing ensure comfortable accommodation combined with traditional features, which together with an in-ground swimming pool and children's play area make us the ideal place for a rural gite holiday from which to explore Southern Brittany and the Loire valley with it's many vineyards. The self catering gites are approached via a separate, gated, entrance drive lined with fruit trees, leading to the parking area. The enclosed gardens with grand old oak trees giving a parkland feel are surrounded by gently rolling countryside offering peace and quiet - why not barbecue on the patio, relax by the swimming pool or explore this varied and interesting region. Le Portail Bleu invites you to relax in the French countryside, in traditional and comfortable child friendly gite accommodation, with family oriented facilities - in ground swimming pool and childrens play area. We are resident on-site, and take pride in our provision of clean and well maintained self-catering French holiday cottage accommodation. Although rural we have village facilities close-by (3 kms in either direction) including Boulangers (bakers), Epiceries (general grocery shops), a Garage, Bar-Tabacs, Restaurants, Butchers and a Pharmacy. With the market towns of Chateaubriant and Bain de Bretagne 10-12 kms away for all shopping needs.

Our play area is designed to keep your little ones occupied and happy whilst not being far from the gites should you need to supervise them. The child friendly play area can be clearly seen from the terraced areas to the rear of Le Noyer and Le Lierre gites.

"We have had a really enjoyable time. The garden area and hosts have made this an excellent setting for our boys. With plenty of places to visit there has never been a dull moment.
